The Solution 

REIC Rentals deployed an initial fleet of 38 Solar Hybrid Light Towers to the project site. This case study captures performance and cost data collected across all 38 units over a 12-month operating cycle. 

Each unit was equipped with hybrid solar technology and monitored through a DSE remote monitoring system, allowing for accurate tracking of engine runtime, fuel usage, and overall performance throughout the year.

 

The Results 

Over the 12-month period, the Solar Hybrid Light Towers averaged just 4.7 hours of engine runtime per unit, demonstrating the effectiveness of the solar component in reducing fuel reliance. 

Monthly cost savings varied based on labor requirements for operating conventional light towers. Even after rental costs, the project consistently achieved significant monthly savings with REIC Rentals’ Solar Hybrid Light Towers.

The Outcome
